'Just to be Sure'

So every year we go to the eye doctor with Gabby 'just to be sure' (that is what the doctors all say)...

I know it is just to be sure that her eyes are crisp and clear since she relies so heavily on her vision but in the back of my mind I also know the doctors just have NO idea why she is deaf.

They want to make sure she doesn't develop syndromes where she also goes blind... they told this to me when she was itty bitty and it hasn't come up since but I know what they are thinking... Call me psychic! :)

Anywho... it was our eye doctor day the other day and her eyes are perfect... she did a great job with the nurses and doctors and was so brave when they dilated her eyes. Here are some pics of her in the nifty sunglasses.

The rest of the day (slight exaggeration) Gabby and Emmy played doctor with Gabby as the doctor. It was pretty cute! I love when they play together!

Notice all the stickers and sucker (or Popsicle as Emmy would say!)... yeah she was pretty loved by all the nurses and she said Thank you so sweetly to everybody... mama is beaming!

The juice box wrapper on Emmy's forehead is the thermometer and she has all her animals and baby around her. Gabby even went to her room and got a pacifier out of her bed so that she would be calmed down! HA!
