A little, good, old-fashioned...

pumpkin patch...

the kind of pumpkin patch with no vines, hay mazes, located in a NON-rural setting...

the kind of pumpkin patch that I went to as a kid...

literally...
The other day we had a few extra hours, after school, before daddy got home. So we went to the pumpkin patch... Hartke's pumpkin patch! You will have to excuse the quality of these pics... due to the sporadic nature of this outing... I didn't have ANY cameras... Just my phone.
Yes... this didn't have any vines or ponies or wagon rides
BUT
it didn't have ANY other people either!!!
We had the entire (tiny) place to ourselves (3 days before Halloween, in BEAUTIFUL!!!! weather!)! INCREDIBLE!
The girls picked out a bunch of little 'spooky' pumpkins to decorate at our little neighborhood Halloween party (pics coming soon!).
and I LOVE this picture of them working together to push/pull the wagon filled with pumpkins on gravel... great team work girls!!
I remember this hay maze from when I was a kid... it was so big and scary and fun... umm good thing it still is for Gabby and Emmy! :)
Gabby's favorite part was definitely the Hay maze... she loved leading the way with my phones flashlight... while Emmy clung to me!
Emmy's favorite part was definitely the candy which they gave us at the checkout...
That is so typical my girls... LOVE IT!
