We had such a great Thanksgiving! We had a perfect crowd...
Dereks twin brother and his wife came for the weekend and my sister came to town. It was a great number of people (9 total) and I had a ton of fun setting up my table and cooking all the food. I love how relaxing and 'family oriented' Thanksgiving is...

We started Thursday off with a SNOWSTORM! It was beautiful and so fun!

Tara and I set the table and it turned out so perfect... elegant with a touch of kiddo. Just what I was going for! Gabby and I made the
pine cone turkeys the week before when we were in Florida. I love how she picked
different styles of eyes for every guest... she likes details just like her mama!

I made a new turkey recipe called '
Pancetta Sage Turkey.' Everyone said it was great... I wouldn't know because I got a NASTY sinus infection the day before and was so clogged I couldn't taste anything... BUMMER!
YUMMM!!!

The menu was fabulous... along with the turkey we had
Taras sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus &
brussel sprouts, cornbread stuffing, cranberry tart cherry sauce, and green beans. We got rolls from
Lubleys bakery... a great spot!

Emmy loved the festivities based on food... she loves food
after all! Gabby slept through most of the meal but did enjoy her meal and telling us all the Thanksgiving story when she woke up.

I didn't do a very good job at taking pics of the party once it started...I guess I had too good of a time! Here is a picture of everyone enjoying the meal.

and of course we had dessert!... classic
Dobash Tart (6-7 layer yellow cake with chocolate fudge in the layers and yummy frosting... AMAZING!) and of course pumpkin pie!

We have
sooo much to be thankful for this year and it was a great time celebrating! Hope you all had a great time too!
