I do have a question... (As many of you know) I am VERY into traditions and making memories that can be passed from generation to generation. I love the idea that my kids will make their kids do something, however silly or crazy, because they were made to do it. I LOVE the traditions my family has and look very forward to making these same memories with my children. I also like make new traditions for my new little family.
Anyone have any ideas for Memorial Day traditions? I want to do something every year that reminds us of the real reason for the holiday. Thanks for the help!
Here are some pictures of our fun...
Emmy playing 'ordering food' at the play house:
Gabby watering her garden with swimming pool water:
Gabby enjoying some whip cream from the angel food cake with berries... YUM!
You know it is good if Gabby will get her fingers dirty!!

Emmy eating her cake 'rocky' style:
Playing in the little swimming pool and bubbles (that quickly turned the kiddie pool into a bubble bath!)
Playing washers and beanbags with Grandpa and Aunt Mary.
Yes... that is the red beanbag by Gabby's head after she threw it forward... that is how AWFUL she is at sports! :)
Again, luv the pictures! Like you, we've done more barbequing(weather permitting) in the past -- or family trips way back when, in the NW (boat racing!). In the last few years a little thing added was to be sure that a card, special email, whatever, went to our favorite veterans/ servicemen! (grandpa/ husband/ son!) :):)
