It was a quick trip... we left Friday on the 8 am flight and got back Monday early afternoon.
My wonderful cousin, Suzanne the absolute love of her life. She looked SOOO happy all weekend and we couldn't be happier for her.
It was a great time celebrating her Friday and Saturday and then Sunday we celebrated the 4th. We started the day with a beautiful walk around Cherry Creek, a nice part of downtown Denver. There was an art fair and it was in the mid 70's... perfect! Then we went to an amazing lunch spot right next to Coors field. Gabby, Derek, and I went with a part of our fabulous family to the Rockies game and had a blast! Then the entire family... too many to name! got together for a family bbq at my Aunt Marcia's beautiful house. Unfortunately the weather was wet... POURING sheets of water so we stayed inside and didn't get to see any fireworks.
Needless to say... we are doing fireworks tonight (this is one of my favorite parts of celebrating our great nation). I will be sure to post pics of all the fun!!
Here is part one of the 4th fun!
We got to my Aunt Marcia's house and the girls ran straight for the DOG BED! HA! They loved playing in it the entire weekend.
The amazing onion rings tower. They were incredible!
the table cloth of the restaurant
the flyover at the game... we're talking chills people... simply amazing!
Gabby on Daddy's shoulders walking into the stadium
Coors field
Gabby sitting with her baby 'Caty' (yes I know this is how she spells it... the doll's brand is corelle and it is written all over her cloth body and Gabby one day pointed to her baby and said 'see it says Caty all over her body, that's how I know her name) watching the game
Watching with cool Aunt Mary...our seats were amazing! Right behind home plate
the cousins that came to the game... Kellie and Will
Daddy bought all kinds of great ballpark snacks
Although she looks thrilled...she WOULDN'T eat it! Thanks babe for the cotton candy!
