Gabby's First day at school A

Yep... it is that time of year again... YIKES! Actually this was back in August... I am all out of order! :)

SCHOOL!

This year Gabby is going to two schools... her oral-deaf ed program and a mainstream preschool. We are so excited for her and just know she will blossom (I am a bit [under-exaggeration] nervous about this new transition!).

We started her first school in mid-august and it was a great day... Gabby said so herself!

Daddy came home from work (yes, he goes to work at 6 am!) for our little breakfast party of cinnamon rolls, chocolate covered strawberries and cheesy eggs.

Gabby and Emmy were so excited to see Daddy in the morning! They were excited about all the treats as well! :)

Gabby loved the little sign that said Happy 1st day of school and all the decorations. After bath and clothes we went downstairs and Gabby went up to the table and said..." Oh, this is just great!" Talk about making all the work worth it! :) YESSS!

They dug into the treats we made for all the teachers as well... how can you resist chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles!

After our yummy treats we all headed to Gabby's school. She got to show daddy her new classroom and meet her new teacher (who she already knew! and clearly LOVES!).

I love these series of pictures... Gabby loves Miss Audrey and we do too! She has been in school for 2 and a half weeks and it has been the most wonderful weeks of school yet. We are so excited about this year! Tomorrow she meets her other teachers and new friends... wish us luck!! (yes that was an US!! I am more nervous then her!)
